Super mothers
My growing up years are mostly in the presence of my mother. She has always been there for me. I remember her attending my parent's meeting when I was in grade school and most especially in hight school. I even have a photo with her when I was on stage receiving my medals and ribbons. Well, in fairness, my father has been there for me but on bigger occasions like graduation day. I graduated three times ( grade school, hight school and college) and he was there. I am sure he is proud of me as my mother is.
Anyway, where does all this lead to? Well, recently I mentioned to my mother how the weather is starting to change and it's the fall season and temperature is quite eratic and I need something that I can hug during at night. It was just a passing remark. Nothing else. Well, the idea there is that I just miss my husband Lionel. Anyway, one night later, I was busy going over my bills and letters and ended up late going to bed. As I was going in and pulled over my comforter, there I see a very adorable, pink teddy bear. And my smile was til my ears! And thought of my conversation with my mother. She is just so sweet.
I have always cherish my memories with her. I appreciate all that she is doing for me and she is just the greatest mother ever! Although I may have not outwardly shown my appreciation and my feelings but I hope I have let it known to her that I love her.
