She has always been there for me. I remember her attending my parent's meeting when I was in grade school and most especially in hight school. I even have a photo with her when I was on stage receiving my medals and ribbons. Well, in fairness, my father has been there for me but on bigger occasions like graduation day. I graduated three times ( grade school, hight school and college) and he was there. I am sure he is proud of me as my mother is.

Anyway, where does all this lead to? Well, recently I mentioned to my mother how the weather is starting to change and it's the fall season and temperature is quite eratic and I need something that I can hug during at night. It was just a passing remark. Nothing else. Well, the idea there is that I just miss my husband Lionel. Anyway, one night later, I was busy going over my bills and letters and ended up late going to bed. As I was going in and pulled over my comforter, there I see a very adorable, pink teddy bear. And my smile was til my ears! And thought of my conversation with my mother. She is just so sweet.

I have always cherish my memories with her. I appreciate all that she is doing for me and she is just the greatest mother ever! Although I may have not outwardly shown my appreciation and my feelings but I hope I have let it known to her that I love her.

How it started

It was so sudden. A thought just came to me and here I am starting a blog. I normally do no take time to make any entries in my journal and now here I am.

Maybe this is a good way to unwind from a day's work as a registered nurse. I have been working as a registered nurse for a year and a half now. I can't say that I don't like it, but I can't either say that my passion lies in nursing. I have not exactly pin pointed yet as to where my passion lies. I have asked my husband and he said I should set up my own business as a wedding coordinator. I enjoy dealing with people and come up with ideas that are in line with services. I just do not know how to start. I guess I am just afraid to fail.

Now, I am back to zero. I still do not know what to do. Top 5 in my list of things that I dream of doing:
1. To work as a nurse in a far flung areas that are over poverty line or any areas that needs medical attention.
2. To write an interesting journal that can be publish and would be a bestseller.
3. To be a pianist.
4. To be a poet.
5. To write songs.

Well, for now, these are it. Well, let's see what happens next month. If I go beyond, maybe I will add that I dream of being a fashion model/designer (ha!ha!ha!), to run a business of my own and to stay beautiful in and out. But I think, over all, I am quite contented to love and be loved by my husband...for now...:)

What is my kind of pet?

One time, in my work place I was asked if I have a pet and I said no. They were surprised. Then I said, well, if I plan to get one, it would most likely be a fish, a goldfish, to be specific.

My husband knows about it and my reason is simple. Watching the fish swim round and round the bowl or tank (but most likely, a bowl) is soothing and relaxing. Next, fish food is not that expensive and you do not have to feed it everyday. But you would ask, what about being able to pat or hug a pet. Well, I guess I am not that type of person when it comes to pets..only with people. But do not get me wrong. I love to pat and play with a dog or a cat, as long as it is someone else's pet ha!ha!ha! Don't get me wrong! I grew up with 6 dogs and 3 cats way back in our hometown but I guess I am just not the "pet" kind of person.

They may find me weird not having a pet to take care of but I think I will just wait until I will have a baby , then that will make me busy. I am not saying that I will be treating my baby like a pet ha!ha!ha! My husband will kill me if I do that ha!ha!ha!

To people who has pets, I admire you.

125 Points with Strikes!

After my shift at work, my co-workers and I decided to go bowling. At first, I was hesitant but I went anyway. This will be my first time to bowl again after the longest time when I used to go bowling with my sister and husband in Makati or Alabang.

Anyway, we played a total of three games in just an hour and half. It was fast! We were in a competitive mood that we just throw one ball after the other. My first time to be sweaty and all while bowling. It was fun! I was surprised how I scored in all three games. My highest is 125 and the lowest 99. Not bad! Not bad at all. And in all three games, I scored the highest! I surprised them and myself.

The bottom of it all, I finally have a group that I could have recreational activity with. Activities that will be of my interest.

Til my next update on my score.
